Meet Jenny Jarose

When did you begin working at LeaseTeam?

July 2013

What office do you work out of?

Omaha

What is your title and daily job?

Director of HR and Administration. I manage the Human Resource functions at LeaseTeam, along with the administration group. We handle everything from recruiting, benefits, employee relations, company events to building maintenance… and of course, a whole list of “other duties as assigned!”

What is your favorite project you have worked on – or what was a benchmark that was reached that you are particularly proud of?

My favorite project has to be working on the Education Committee since its inception last year. The amazing collaboration across all levels of the company never ceases to amaze me.  When talented people come together to accomplish something they are passionate about, it turns out even better than expected. Our new education platform is going to be fantastic, and it is incredible to be a part of something so paramount to our success as a company and as individuals.

Where were you born?

Bremerton, WA

What are 3 words to describe LeaseTeam?

Challenging, fast-paced, dynamic

How do you balance your career at LeaseTeam and your family?

My husband and I have 6 kids between us, 4 of which are still in the house and full of activities and sports… which means we are always on the go! I’m blessed to work at a company that thinks of its employees as family and treats us as such. LeaseTeam understands that flexibility is key when it comes to employees and their family schedules, and we make sure to allow for that as much as possible. It is refreshing to know that my boss understands my life and my family’s needs, and is flexible with me when I have something going on. It makes me want to give more back to the company, and it drives me to want to help others when they need it too.

What is your favorite movie?

Shawshank Redemption

What is your favorite restaurant?

Hiro 88

When you’re not at LeaseTeam, what are you most likely doing?

My family is busy…we have a household of ball players, 2 of which are on year around teams, so more than likely I am taking a kid to practice or watching them play or cleaning their uniforms or some other fun ball mom activity. Occasionally though, I get to spend some quality time with my husband and maybe go watch the Huskers or get away for a few days! But for the most part, it’s driving all over the Midwest watching softball games for one of our girls. During the times that we are playing, less (winter), I am usually home with my family recuperating until the next season. We are hopefully watching football or relaxing!

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?

Anywhere tropical is good.

What is your favorite thing to do in Omaha?

Our zoo is amazing. If you haven’t seen it, you should!
